Community Resources
Frequent Family Dinners Make a Difference
On average,
teenagers who use alcohol, tobacco and marijuana begin using them
between 12 and 14 years of age, with some of the highest risk kids
starting to use even earlier. Help keep your kids substance free
by being engaged in their lives, including eating dinner together
often. The more often you have dinner with your kids, the less
likely they are to smoke, drink or use drugs.
